Well, our weekend got busy with mundane household tasks.. Upside is I got a hair cut and highlights!
So I figured I'd take the time to revisit probably one of the coolest places I've been to in a long time. Wonderful Garmisch,Germany. My Grandfather was stationed there, and learned to ski there.
Yep. That's prime ski country right there.
This is the view from our hotel. Absolutely gorgeous.

The views are breath taking.
The Eibsee at the foot of the mountain. Eibsee doesn't translate into anything in English, so I have no clue what it means.
That is some seriously clear water.
We also got to visit the oldest Monastery in Bavaria.

The town of Garmisch captures the true essence of Bavaria. We plan on spending the next 2 weekends there, that's just how much we liked it!
Oh yeah, I can see myself retiring here.... but only if I won the lottery.
